My Kalara Mamu
Mamu, I am not missing you yet because I haven't yet been able to grasp the reality that you have left us. You were different from the rest, Mamu. Through your calm demeanor and ever bearing smiling face and less words, you showered all the love and affection. Over the years, your short calls - "Au mama kemiti achu? Sabu bhala..." I wish I had called you more often from my end... After wedding when Pruthesh and myself had settled down in Bangalore, you and mai made sure to spend half a day at our house post lunch just to relax and talk... and in that 2 hour that you spent and had a chat with Pruthesh... you both developed a instant liking for one another. Pruthesh was so impressed by you after his one-on-one interaction that he kept telling me - Kuna mamu is a gem of a person!! I was your and mai's tail for every outing back when I was kid staying in Bhwanaipatna. You taking me out secretly to eat to idli dosa when I got scolding from mausi for not doing homework
